This project began in January 2025. To date, images are from La Izquierda Surf Fest, a visit to the oldest surf/skate shop in Texas (that closed a month after the photos were made), a day near Pleasure Pier with decent waves and the new Texas Surf Museum in Galveston. The series will continue to run and be updated regularly with portraits of surfers and local icons, as well as documentary and lifestyle images to tell the story of surf in Southeast Texas.
